Create a 5 X 7 document.

Here are your foreground and background colors.
Apply Clouds holding down the Alt key before clicking.
Create a gradient like the one shown below where the white is transparent.

Drag from the corner to the center.
Find or scan some old text or card and place it in the document.
Set a drop shadow for the piece.
Drop a memorable old photo onto the piece and use the right-click button on your mouse on the Layers palette to access Copy Layer Style and apply that by right-clicking again and choosing Paste Layer Style.
Find or scan some memorabilia such as the old ticket. To select the ticket and pull it off the underlying background, use the Magic Wand and then use the Invert feature. Right-click the layer and choose Layer Via Copy.
Paste the layer style to this piece too.
Let's apply the layer style to this layer as well and then open Layer Styles and add a stroke to the lettering.
Now type in a number or symbol. Choose Rasterize>Type, then use the Transform feature to enlarge the type.
Apply an Inner Shadow using Layer Styles.
Using the same techniques as we have already done, I put in an old card in the background and also found a rocking horse that I put in the front area.
