In this tutorial we will show you how to transform a pretty face into a cracky one on Adobe Photoshop. Tutorial Includes project files.
Go to: File/Open and open two files: One will be the photo of the face you want to transform:
The other will be the photo of a cracked wall, paper, etc.
Both images will be placed into two different layers.
Remember that the face photo must be under the cracked photo.
Now select the Layer 1 (where you have the cracked wall)
Go to the Layers Options window and choose MULTIPLY.
This will helps us see both photographs.
But we don't want to do a mess, this has to be a pro effect, so let's choose the Eraser Tool at the Tools Menu:
Now start erasing (always having the Number 1 Layer selected) all the parts that we don't want to have cracks on, for example: the mouth, teeth, etc.
See the result? Its a very artistic effect.
