In this tutorial we will show you how to create a pattern in Photoshop CS3.
Remember that patterns are useful for our web pages background designs.
Start a new document.
Open the image you need to make the pattern effect from.
After you do so, go to: Filter/Pattern Maker from the Main Menu.
The Pattern Maker window will pop up.
Select the following settings:
Width: 56
Height: 58
Offset: None
Smoothness: 1
Sample Detail: 5
After doing so, press: "Generate" as shown below:
As soon as you press Generate, your Pattern will be created, look:
