In this tutorial I'll show you how easy it is to achieve instant aging or color modification to a photo or a piece of artwork.
I've opened a file that was created in Photoshop.
I changed the foreground and background colors to shades of gray 190 189 189 and 91 91 91.
On a new layer with the Gradient Tool selected, I applied the gradient to the layer.
Once the above step was completed I changed the layer mode to Hue.
In an instant the painting was changed to look like it had been aged.
