The Question "How do I get professional looking thumbnails in my Poser libraries" is one that seems to crop up quite regularly so here is a short tutorial. What we'll try to do here is make two thumbnails of the default poser skirt and sweater fully textured with items from 3D Model World CD but, will in fact load white blank items ready for use. So load up the figure and add the two items and then hair, shoes and pose the figure.

Go Render/ Materials and change all the "Object Colors" to white then add your textures to the garments. Then change the background color if need be.

Render this image to the main window and go Edit/ Copy Picture then Display/ Paste onto Background. If you move the camera a little to the left you'll see your figure with the render as the background. The next step is to set up the items to add back into the library so select the woman and delete her. Then delete both of the shoes and remove the textures from the skirt and sweater. You should have a view like the one below.

The last thing to do is check which items are which, in my case the skirt is figure 2 and the sweater figure 3 but we can change these by selecting the body.
Then going Ctrl I or Object/ Properties and changing its name.

Now move the camera until you can no longer see the garments and making sure you have the sweater selected click the + sign below your figure library to add it then choose the skirt and do the same and you will have two nice rendered and textured thumbnails.
