In this tutorial we will show you how to change the speed of a video in Adobe Premiere. Tutorial Includes project files and video.
As always, you must start a new document.
Go to the Project Panel and right click over it and choose "Import File"
Import a video.

Then release the video into the Timeline Panel.
As soon as you do these two steps, select the video and right click over it and select "Speed"

The following window will pop up.
It will show you the video Speed and its Duration.

Now, its up to you to decide how fast or slow you want your video to run.
If you type in "New Rate" a number under 100 %, the video will slow down and if you type more than a 100% the video will run faster.
As an example I typed 200% so now my video will run very quickly (it turns out to be something funny).

Then click OK.
This is how the video on the timeline will show up (in this case shorter).
As soon as you download the file that is included with this tutorial, you will see how easy it is and how fast it runs, have fun!!
