In this tutorial we will show you how to create your own background in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.
Start a new Page, name it "Background" and save it.
Then, open the Adobe Photoshop program.
As soon as you do so, create a new document with the following settings:
WIDTH: 6 Pixels
HEIGHT:4 Pixels
Resolution: 72
Then, create the pattern you desire, I chose red and black squares:
When you are done, save it as GIF.
I name it: backdot
This is how it looks:
Now return to Dreamweaver.
Right click over your new document and select: "Page Properties"
The page properties windows will appear.
Go to "Background Image" and browse the image you want to add as background into your page, in this case it will be "backdot.gif" (the image we created before).
Then click "Apply"
Now you have just created your own background!!!Look:
