The Lady Bug - Corel Paint Shop Pro Tutorial
Donnamarie J. Walker |
| This is a lengthy tutorial consisting of many layers and because we will have to move back and forth between layers, at one point in this tutorial, I recommend naming your layers and saving often. Download The Lady Bug Selection file here. Extract to your selections folder or into its own folder. All selections were made with vector shapes. Right click, copy and paste as a new image The Lady Snail Color Palette below, this will make it easier to switch between colors. Since this is a Selections tutorial, from this point on you will flood fill each selection with black, then Contract by 1 and fill with a color unless otherwise stated. We will use a Cutout and Noise at 3% to get rid of the banding caused by using the Cutout. I used my Dropper Tool, right clicking on each color to switch the back and forth between the background colors throughout the tutorial. Image is 50% of the actual finished size.
