| I've said this in reviews before but I'm really serious now. I was serious then too but, this is really, really serious. Get yourself a pot of coffee, a comfortable chair, relax and get ready to see the coolest, most powerful, easy to use application I've ever come across for building web applications. This review is many pages in length and when you get done reading it I know you'll know at least part of the power of CodeCharge Studio. There is so much in this tool that even though I hope to cover it all, I'll bet I miss some. Another thing I want to mention is that this is one of those applications that we just don't have enough awards for. I tried putting all the text that described how great this software is on an award but it just wouldn't fit. Every time I open CodeCharge Studio I get excited. Sometimes, this is the most fun you can have while working. First I'll give you an general overview and then in the remaining pages I'll take you through some of the tasks that can be accomplished quickly and easily with CodeCharge Studio 2.1. CodeCharge Studio generates code for front ends for database applications. The languages that can be used include ASP, ASP.NET(C#), ASP.NET(VB), ColdFusion, PHP 4.0, J2EE 1.2, and Perl 5. CodeCharge Studio can be used as an engine to build your application, you can create custom code, or build your whole application by hand. The possibilities are limitless. CodeCharge Studio can connect to ADO, JDBC, PHPLib and DBI. Generated code does not require ODBC connectivity as code connects to databases using the method appropriate for the language/environment being used. CodeCharge Studio supports MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Access and other databases that have ODBC drivers. CodeCharge Studio delivers professional front end solutions to you database challenges. Whether you want to code it yourself or use CodeCharge Studio's application builder, creating professional applications is quick and easy with a very intuitive user interface. If you've never done this sort of thing before; there will be a learning curve. The curve depends on your experience. If you have done this sort of thing before; you'll find CodeCharge Studio is a must have tool. In the following pages I'll go over each of the "builders" built in to CodeCharge Studio and then all the little tools that make creating data driven web sites easier and quicker to build. Productivity will increase with this tool as you'll see. You must have your database ready to go. You can specify within CodeCharge Studio the key fields and even join tables quickly and easily. There are three ways to start a project in CodeCharge Studio, a new blank project, an existing project and using the application builder. Two of them (new blank project and application builder) will be covered in the next two pages. Before you go on I'd like to mention that some pages might load slower than others as they are laden with screen shots, almost 200 of them in total, so please be patient as those pages load. Lets get started. We'll start with a new blank project.
