Here we have our two photos which I have scanned into Photoshop. One photo overlaps the other photo. I want them to look seamless like professionals make them. How do I do that?
Begin by making sure that both photos are on separate layers.
Now select Layer and choose Add Layer Mask.
Select Reveal All.
Select the Gradient Tool.
Here is an example of using the Gradient tool across the entire layer.
Here's an example of dragging the Gradient tool from about 2/3.
Here is an example of dragging the Gradient tool approximately 1/5 of the area on the left.
